Action Exhaust: Discard 1 card from a deck. You may pay 1 Malice. If you do, play that card, ignoring its loyalty. If it's a Demon, it costs 1 Blood less to play.

  • ◆ Blood

    The red drop printed on the cost badge. Blood is the currency you spend to play a card; the official Count Alucard example costs 9 Blood.

  • ◇ Malice

    A second resource, distinct from Blood. Confirmed by name in the official Quick-Start Rules PDF: players collect it alongside Blood each round ("takes 5 blood and 1 malice from the supply"), and some Action abilities "cost malice, which must be paid from your pool." Lady Van Tassel’s "Malicious 2" ability is named after this resource. The token was transcribed as {sigil} before this name was confirmed; renamed to {malice} across the CSV and generated data on 2026-09-06.

    The curved arrow used as a cost. Narrow Escape prints the word “Exhaust” for the same action.
