Dawn of Terror is Hellbreak’s first set. Here is the confirmed product lineup.
Booster packs
13 cards per pack, with every pack guaranteeing 1 foil, 1 borderless card, and 1 card of rare or higher. A full booster display is 24 packs at $143 MSRP, though we have seen preorders meaningfully under that (around $110 at one major online retailer). Per card at MSRP that is about 46 cents, and the three-guarantee pack structure is friendlier than most games give you at this price. The full booster math is on its own page.

Two-Player Starter Set, Jaws vs Dracula
$27. Two 50-card decks, one built around Jaws and one around Dracula, each with an exclusive foil monster card. That much is confirmed via ICv2. Launch marketing also described location cards, a playmat sheet and an instruction booklet in the box; we have not independently verified those, so we are not listing them as confirmed. This is the complete game for two people in one box, which is genuinely uncommon; most TCGs make each player buy their own deck. Full breakdown on our starter set page.

Release timing needs a careful read
October 31, 2026 is a launch event, not a retail street date. ICv2 reported from Gen Con 2026 that Spin Master "is still planning to have some type of launch event in October 2026, but the actual release of the game’s first set into stores will be in January 2027," with the release window "being pushed back to Q1 2027." Retail listings carrying Q1 2027 dates are the accurate ones. Source: icv2.com
UK and Ireland were given an October window through Asmodee. If a retailer promises you product at Halloween, read the ship date rather than the headline, and see our preorder page for what we have actually checked.
How big is the set
Launch press reported roughly 250 cards. Printed collector numbering on the cards revealed so far puts the base set at 227: numbers above that seen on real cards, such as DOT 245 and DOT 439, are alternate-art and foil printings of base cards rather than additional distinct cards. We are treating 227 as the working number and will drop the hedging entirely when an official spec sheet publishes.
Rarity ratios beyond the per-pack guarantees have not been published, so we are not printing pull-rate math until boxes are actually opened. The rarity ladder itself is official - Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Infamous, Special - and our collecting page explains what that does and does not tell you.
In the meantime, Spin Master is revealing individual cards weekly through Card Reveal Season, which started July 3, 2026. It is not the full set, but it is a real, growing, sourced preview of what is coming, and we track each reveal on our news page and transcribe every card into the database.
